Is there some sort of international standard for enterprise mashups in the same way that WSDL is for web services?

Mashups piggyback on lots of existing standards. A good mashup platform consumes/publishes in RSS, WSDL, and/or XML formats, and makes use of many of the existing security and repository standards as well. Specifically, our EMML language is built on XPath and XQuery.
